Catla

Description

Catla otherwise called Indian Carp, is the main individual from the class Catla, of the carp family Cyprinidae. It is a fish with an enormous projecting lower jaw. It is generally found in streams and freshwater lakes in India, Nepal, Myanmar, Bangladesh and Pakistan. In India it is ordinarily known as the Bhakur.

It is called the significant South Asian carp, is a monetarily significant South Asian freshwater fish in the carp family Cyprinidae. It is a fish with enormous and expansive head, a huge distending lower jaw, and improved mouth. It has enormous, grayish scales on its dorsal side and whitish on its tummy.
